How to Cancel Netflix

Fumigastos · Updated 2026

Netflix keeps the cancel button relatively easy to find compared to some competitors — you can do the whole thing from your account settings in under a minute.

How to cancel Netflix

  1. Go to netflix.com and sign in (cancellation isn't available inside the mobile app on iOS/Android).
  2. Click your profile icon, then "Account."
  3. Under "Membership & Billing," click "Cancel Membership."
  4. Confirm — you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

What happens when you cancel

You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, your account moves to a paused state — your watch history and profiles are saved for up to 10 months in case you resubscribe.
